Have anyone tried Wii Fit?

Recommended Posts

My hubby just got me a Wii Fit as a early Mother's Day gift! I have always loved video games so he thought that a Wii along with the Wii Fit board would be fun for me. I have experimented with it for the last 2 days and I do like it. Just wondering if there is anyone else out that has tried it and if you have any game recomendations.

Right now we have some Jillian Michaels game and the some other Wii fit game.

I've never been a 'gamer.' Last game system I owned was an Atari (sp) system .

I've been interested in the Wii Fit. Please keep us posted on how it works for you. Good luck!

I love my Wii fit. I do mainly Aerobic step. When I need a challenge, I make it higher with my regular step. I also have Gold's Gym for my Wii and I like it.

There's a Gold's Gym game for the Wii? I'll have to look that up.

I do like my Wii Fit. I especially like the yoga and the step aerobics. It's not a great workout (for those I go to actual Gold's Gym), but it keeps you moving.

Have fun with it!

Yes it's called "Gold's Gym Cardio Workout" It kicked my butt the first time I done it.

I got it at Bestbuy for 29.99.

My husband and I have a Wii system but not the Wii fit. I was worried about the weight limit on the board and wanted to wait a while.. but I love the other games and personally was NEVER a gamer....

ADORE the WII fit!!!

I got it about a month ago.

The first time I stepped on it, my Wii age was 58!

Now, my WII age is 41! I can do all the yoga, strength training, and at first, I couldn't do half of it. My favorite is the boxing! I have managed to get to the advanced stage and I do it everyday. You really feel yourself getting stronger and more flexible each day. BEST investment I have made in myself. (with the exception of the lapband, of course!!) :tt2:

Hugs,

I tried so hard to find mine when they weren't very many out there a year ago... I got it and got bored of it  I have unlocked stuff and it's fun sometimes when friends are over or such... But to do religously by myself I can't do I get bored of it .

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
