I was told pasta is fine as long as it's well done ... same with rice. You would be the best answer for this...IS it impacting you?

I have been eating very small amounts of past, rice and potato, since about my 2nd. Month after surgery. I love all three and just have a half a cup or less at a time.

I always eat my protein first, then veggies and if I have room I eat the starch.

I don't use butter and that helps. I also have been eating

whole wheat pasta or the enriched kind with good stuff in it. Also brown rice and baked potatoes.

If I have a few fries, they are baked in the oven not in oil.

Good luck.
