If I fly in Judy that will be the flight I take from Memphis. But, I think I am going to drive. I will work some Wednesday and then leave to drive there. Not a early morning person. Hah hah..since everyone keeps talking about rental cars, is there anyone I need to pick up from the airport/that will be riding with me & Carson?

I believe Haydee said she was getting a rental car, and Lauras car, and although I haven't made my mind up totally, 75% chance I am driving. Although I have a small car, hyundai elantra. Will fit 4 people, but the luggage thing is the issue. My car is 10 years old, so I am off the fence about whether to drive it or not. Rental cars, unless I find a cheap one are more expensive to rent than the airline ticket. But I might buy a car before then, or find a good deal on rental cars. Can you tell I am thinking out loud and rambling? Enough rambling!!!!!

FYI a National mid-size car is about $22/day.

Jane - From St. Louis looks like Enterprise has the best deals...and they have locations all over town... for about $20/day+ taxes.

It's probably fairly consistent but what I did notice is there's a difference in price between the various rental locations so be sure to check 3 or 4 of them. Also, when you call get an estimated total that INCLUDES all the taxes and fees, which can be considerable.

If you get a rental rate of $20 or so you can rest assured they're not going to go significantly lower than that.

I need a ride! I can sit on Carson's lap...or he can sit on mine...either way, I am easy!

Perhaps we need to all go in on renting a van or something????? How far is airport (or Laura's house) to where we are staying? Can Russ be our designated driver? I am sure he would love to drive the "paddy wagon" full of drunk Violets AND a preacher's wife w/ a dirty mouth! hahaha...getting 'cited now!
