I just started the process of the Lap Band. I have an appt. with a surgeon in two weeks. Im curious to know what steps Im going to have to take and what to expect out of insurance companies. Or should i say what they expect... I currently have BCBS. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Congrats on starting the journey. I started in July08 I'm getting close but still don't quite have a surgery date yet. I have Blue Cross of California however they are all a little different in what they require from you. You can see my dated list below of all the requirements my insurance needed from me.
