Ok I read on anohter post it could be form artificial sweetners and I just had a KO protein water this monring something I normally don't drink I think this explains it...

Make sure that you are getting enough vitamins and minerals as well as drinking lots and lots of water. I had that before and my electrolytes were all off. If you start to feel strange and mentally foggy be sure and call your doc.

I had a problem like that years before my lapband. I was taking 1800mg of calcium with vitamin D and that was the cause. I stopped it for a few days and then dropped the dose the 1200mg and the problem has not reoccured.

Do you take a daily vitamin? Sometimes it leaves a metal taste in my mouth.
