Did you all have a good Memorial day? I had a wonderful time we built a fire and made mountain pies, smores, and hotdogs. I also made fruit kabobs that was a huge hit.

Even tho I had a great time I really have problems with over eating at social settings, whether it be a picnic, going out to eat with friends, or just any kind of party. I have really noticed how addicted to food I still am. It really scares me. I almost have to forbid myself to go out because I blow it almost every time. I know yesterday I must have ate over 3000 calories. Now I feel guilty and mad at myself. Do you all have these problems too? And if you do what can we do to overcome them?

I haven't posted in this thread for a while, but I've lost five since the cruise.....an even 90- down now.....I don't recommend the stress diet, but it works! The band becomes a sphincter in times of stress...

Down another .4 lbs, not much but I'll take it. Leaving this Saturday for a month long vacation to Nashville and Florida, I'll have to be careful not to put a bunch of weight back on.

Lynn let me know how it goes. I am really scared, but I was scared for the lap band too. I guess about the same.

Last appt I had with the lapband doc he said its time to check out a tummy tuck. I told him I wasnt sure I was ready yet and he really pushed me into doing it.

Insurance is only paying for the bottem part of my belly and for a hernia repair and I think if im getting surgery i want all of the belly done, so I am paying for part of it myself.

Hi Scrappy, My doctor also told me to start checking into the "Panni" surgery as well. So I am going for my consult on 7/21/09 after my vacation. My surgen is really busy. The scarry thing is that my husband is having lap band surgery on Friday. :thumbup: We just found out last Friday that he was going in. So he is in his pre-op appointment right now.
