  2. It has been quiet on here. Hopefully it is because we are all busy,, just notkeeping in touch. Snow here has been wicked. still looking at the white stuff and posibility of more. Struggling to lose last 10-15#..HELP
  3. ??? I have lot of sensitivity in the area of my port, It seems to protrude a bit. No schedule appt with DR, as my last fill before xmas has given me great restriction, even though I am still struggling to lose the last 10-15#.
  4. snow snow go away..... maybe 18" plus today on top of last night's 5".. now rain and sleet, getting ready to head off to work, for at least a few hours, then home...we canceled all of today's appointments, but will head in for phones and paperwork... better than sitting hoe with the munchies.. I hate cabin fever!! Stay safe everyone!
  5. Snow shoveling. hate it, but it is good exercise. We had 26" of snow as the official count here Delaware
  6. Strugglig a bit. have great restriction, but still just maintaining. Which is good, but need to lose a few more #'s. trying a kick start with a few days of liquid protein drinks...hope it gives me that boost. Snowed in now, 18" of snow overnight and snow bound. Delaware declared a state of emergency..Back home in Rochester, we would all be out and about!!! Enjoy all
  7. Haven't been around alot lately, but really should be. Struggling a bit, but have great restriction, remembering to listen to my body and not my hunger. This is definitely a life long change so have to remember that. Still glad I had the LB and know it was my best decision..Just keep on moving forward.
  8. Still here lurking around!!! busy as ever, work, moving..never enough time to get everything done. And my eating habits have been terrible. once I get settled I will get back on track and hopefully lose those last 20 # I have been struggling with
  9. kick me in the butt....have to get back on track. Have to get my food journal set up and U-S-E it. I do have a friend in the same situation, we were banded within one month of each other. Even though she is young enough to be my daughter we created a bond and have encouraged each other along the way. Back to basics!!!
  10. bread and pasta are the worse for me, as is a dry tough meat. Turkey burgers kill me.. the pain: too dense. I do have rolls sometimes, but pizza is a thing of the past.. crackers are ok I am preparing my favorite staple for cold weather. Homemade vegetable soup..add some shedded chesse after heating and I am ready to go..yum..
  11. Cravings vs. Hunger I always want chocolate...but can usually manage those desires.. Even after almost 2 years post surgery I am still learning to work with my band. As we all are..
  12. yes, the LB is something I would do again. There are several people at work thinking about having it done and have asked for my input. I try to be honest, give them some of my good and bad issues. But in the end they seem happy to have someone to discuss it with... Happy New Year!!
  13. I may be at my sweet spot now. I canceled an appt for 1/4/10 knowing I would not need any adjustments. Can't really tell if I am losing anything right now. Still having issues with the cellulitis and leg swelling. Happy New Year!!!!
  14. Cellulitis is an infection of the tissue. Mine was about 75% of my leg from ankle to back of my butt cheek. painful, and sore.. Better now, back to work full time next week. Still some discomfort if I am on my feet too long..So therefore I find myself sitting and resting with my leg elevated..Most likely from an infection in the incision from my thigh lift revision just before Thanksgiving. But nothing was every conclusive as to a decision as the cause
  15. Merry Christmas!! Enjoy. Made it through the day, Enjoyed myself with family and friends..Tomorrow maybe hitting the after holiday sales.. Time to shop for my daughter's birthdays.. Back on track with my food intake..unfortunately the celluitis has kept my leg swollen so any true weight loss is hard to figure out. I did lose 5# since just before Thanksgiving..
  16. HAPPY HOLIDAYS !!! Enjoy time with family and friends
