MimmyJD, i, too, have a 10cc band and am somewhere around 6cc ( on my 3rd fill, the PA decided I was obsessing about it so he would not tell me. - :unsure:All i did was ask the size of my band and how much was he adding) The Sweet Spot, to me is the sensation of being full, still being able to eat some foods, without feeling hungry nor too full. It's almost in balance.

First off congrats Veronica on your great progress! It feels great to be losing more then a pound or two!

I have to say it is amazing how some people can have one or two CC's and hit their sweet spot while others pretty much fill their band full before hittin their sweet spots. For me I got another CC of Fluid into my band on Monday so I am at 5 CC's now. I do have a 10 CC capacity band. But I do feel a decent amount of restriction. I had a scrambled egg and two slices of bacon for Breakfast this morning and I feel completely stuffed. I actually have a hard time imagining how much more restriction I would have if I had 10 CC's. LOL

Well for me this week I lost another 4 pounds! WooT!

Congrats Veronica!!

everyone is different. I keep have to reminding myself the band is only a tool- i have to do the work- meaning stick to the diet, and no grazing ( I'm a terrible grazer!) But have found other things to do instead of eat. (Housework only if I'm desperate!:)). The fills will increase as we lose weight , so am more concerned about amount of miles walked, protein, calories, NSVs, and the scale. BTW, am down 1# this week to 235. ( Any loss is a win!)

I haven't posted in a while but I have stayed the same. I am feeling restriction but I am not quite at my sweet spot. I am finding it hard to find the time to workout. I have a stationary bike, treadmill and pool at home and still can't seem to get motivated. I go back for a fill July 13th and hopefully it will be a good loss for me. I go on vacation Wednesday and am a little worried about eating the right things. I hope everyone has a good week and a safe 4th of July Holiday.

Oh I forgot to add that my goal for July is 5 pounds. My weight loss is slow so I will have a low goal and maybe be able to met it this time.

:wink2:Florida Pete or whoever is editing the spread sheet., If you are updating this, Why is mine gone? I'm still in this. Hoped to lose 5 # in June ;lost 7, to 235. For July, hope for 5# more.

well its another new month and we are still moving toward the finish line. so i want to congradulate everyone for the lbs lost. i hope everyone continues to keep us all updated and we get more people to come join in.

my goal for this month will be 6lbs. i went today and i lost 6lbs so the fill i got 2wks ago was much needed and it feels good to see the scale moving again.

In June I hit 244!!! That last fill started my ball rolling again. 239 is my July Goal:thumbup:

I want to encourage you all to keep working hard. This is a very frustrating stage when everything slows down, and fills get more complicated. I know I am having a rough time with the sweet spot, but I think I have found it. Thought I might have to go in for an unfill, but then realized I wasn't eating right. I am down to 222-221, going back and forth. I have just stepped up my exercise routine to include yoga. Big difference, and got me over the 225 hump I was stuck on. Started Adipex also, which really helps. One actaully lasts me two days! I don't really need it for the appetite supressant, just the energy boost, but is is great! Remember, even if you stop loosing weight, think about the constant gain you have had your whole life. If you are no longer going in the up direction, your band has been worth it!

I'm at 241! Can you update me? Also, my July goal is 238.

I forgot to check in last week. I lost 1 lb. I do my official weigh ins on Fridays. It looks like I may have 3 lbs. to report tomorrow... if I drop .2 lbs. I'm glad I'm finally hitting my stride. I'm sure I'll plateau for a bit soon, but hopefully I'll keep on working through it.
