Forgive me for not posting the pictures but just giving you a link.

I wanted to come here and say, I've lost 170 from all time high and have about 30 more to go. It will be 2 years in March that I had the surgery.

If you're just getting started I thought you'd like some inspiration. Does that sound egotistical? Whatever. It's been a pretty amazing journey and I'm all over the place with my emotions about who I was and who I am....

Julie, congratulations on your weight loss. You were beautiful before, but even more beautiful now. Thank you for sharing your photos and your story. I am having my surgery 1/27/09 and it's nice to see photos showing such great results. You're definitely an inspiration.

Ladies you don't know just how much Julie is an inspiration and a beautiful person. My decision was already made when I saw one of Julie's post on LBT. She is the mother of one of my daughter's friends. When I found out she was banded I sent her a message and she has been there every step of my journey. I was banded 7/29/08 and with her support and advice I have lost 50 lbs post-op. Thanks Julie for being such a great mentor and friend!
