I was banded on Aug. 27, 2009. I weighed 409 when I started my journey and on 3 blood pressure pills a day. I am now proud to say that I weigh 289 and I am off all 3. I have lost 120 pounds in 13 1/2 mts, dropped several clothing sizes and have lots more energy. I feel great and I am regaining my selfconfidence. I still have a good bit more to lose but I am looking fwd to the day I reach my goal. It makes me feel good when I get compliments now. This surgery has changed my life and I have no regrets. I only wished I would have done it sooner.
