traveling by air and tightness of band

Hey

My husband and I are getting ready to fly on a trip. My doc says to not eat on the flight because of tightness in the air. Does anyone know if you are allowed to drink?

Sipping Water is fine. Unless you are on an extrememly long flight without layovers, you won't really need to drink anything.

I get layovers from east to west coast because the fare is cheaper, but allows me time to eat!
