I WAS BANDED 6 DAYS AGO AND EVER SINCE HAVE HAD PAIN IN BACK AND CHEST. FEELS LIKE ESOPHAGEAL SPASMS AND SOMETHING IS STUCK IN MY CHEST. ANY SUGGESTIONS??????:biggrin:

I took Gas X for that and it really seemed to help a lot.

I could not burp either for about 2 weeks and man the first time I burpped it felt so good. Take some gas-x and that will help....and walk!

Walk walk walk... warm tea... Gas X strips... and stretch...bend side to side...have someone burp you... My hubby hit my back and that helped too... I would sit down he would burp me.. then when I stood up it would roll out... BUT gas x strips were definetly my friend.....

Hi there, I was banded on Thursday and was miserable. I had pain in my back and in my shoulder, it is gas. I didn't take any medication just the rubbing and moving around, the gas came out little by little.I still cant burp but the air pocket going down my chest has gotten better. I feel your pain, dont worry. It sucks.

I wasnt able to burp for a month, now i burp like a sailor! LOL wish i couldnt burp!
