I met with my dietician, I have a ?

So, I am understanding everything that the dietician told me. Alot of it is back to basics from weight watchers, portions, weight, ounces, excercise, etc...

Then she told me about the "UNGY?" protein replacement something or another that I will have to get during my 2 week pre-op diet? what the heck is UNGY??????

I think you mean Unjury protein. Just google it and you will get their web site. The vanilla and chocolate flavors are the best. I mix it with soy milk and they are great.

i must be the only lapbander not allowed protein shakes, my dietician as well as bariatric nurse said the lapband doesnt work like gastric bypass. those patients do not absorb their protein, however lapbanders do.

My doc recomened the Unjory shakes, but tha was only for my pre-op diet. He said you need to drink shakes for Protein once you're back on regurlar food...

I guess every doc is different...

Unjury is a protein shake. It only has 80 Calories and it tastes okay. You can goto their website and order samples. My friend called them and they sent her some samples.

unjury has a really bad smell to it..the taste is ok, but the smell makes me sick..l have been using ISOPURE and its almost good..Especially the vanilla, bec there is so much you can do with it...Try some proteins now, before you actually need them....Good luck
