Ok so I've been slowly learning the LB lingo, and I consider myself a decently smart girl, but what the heck does "DH" mean? I've seen it in reference to a husband, but I can't for the LIFE of me figure out what it means. :party:

1st - please help end my confusion!

2nd - any other random LB lingo you know of, please feel free to let me know. I have a long journey ahead of me and want to be in the know while I'm traveling... Plus it'll probably help some other newbies!

I have never seen so many grown adult women beat a dead horse like this. She didn't say anything to be mean or malicious and she has since apologized for it. No reason to crucify the poor girl. She mad a mistake and said she was sorry. Can't we forgive her and move on??

However, I won't forget. I just can't do that. Saying sorry, then saying "But..." means you are *not* really sorry at all. As for deleting the thread, I am afraid the impression that comment left on a number of us cannot be deleted.

Would a public stoning suffice?

Hay, I forgave her a long time ago. I think she got the point and said so previously. I am upset with all the other people saying that it is no big deal to use the word "retard". That's where I am coming from. I have seen a 7 year old bullied and taunted by that word. It is as bad as the N word to that child. Delete the thread I am sick of grown woman being ignorant. Perhaps if it was their loved one being abused they would think differently. Hope you never have to go through it. YES DELETE IT.

It's already in rants and raves. If people would just stop posting on this thread, it would just go away. I know that the thoughts won't go away, but it does no good to fight on this board.
