HELP! NEWBIE! Just banded- Should I have restriction?

I was banded on 8/26/08 and my Doctor says my new pouch will hold 2 to 3oz or 1/4 cup of food. I was just wondering if I'm supposed to have restriction this soon after surgery because I'm on the liqiud diet still but I can drink an entire tomato SOUP AT HAND which has 10 3/4oz. But when I'm done with that I do feel full. Is this normal or am I doing something wrong?:confused::laugh:

I can too!

Until there's restriction, once any post op swelling (if any) goes down you'll be able to eat pretty normally. The band is adjustable...once you start getting fills, you'll feel restriction.
