Great job! It's so gratifying to see everyone's progress....we are a special month - (08/08 afterall!).

I'm down 4 lbs this week for a total of 24 lbs. I've also been walking Maggie (my labradoodle) daily - between 30 - 60 minutes. More exciting are my before and after pictures and my inches lost! It really is astonishing to SEE :wink2: what a difference 24lbs makes!

I am stuck. Same weight for the past 5 days.We have had a lot of rain so I have not been walking. I guess I have to get the treadmill out and dust it off. Yuck - I hate hamster exercise.

Everyone sounds to be doing good. It is inspiration to get exercising:mellow:

Finally! Movement! After spending the last week gaining and losing the same 2-3 lbs. I'm at a new low, 27 lbs. lost since intake at the end of June. Things certainly seem like they're moving very slowly, tho. Grr arg.

Walked 2-3 miles/day, plus tried the Punch, Kick, Jab DVD. Um, too soon. Dying to get back to weight training and core work, but my port is still sore (surgery 8.7) and while I've finally managed to eat more than 1000c/day, I think it will be a couple of more weeks before I'm doing situps and back to lifting 60+ lbs. at a pound (other than myself, of course :wink2:).

I started on food this week and have not lost much since. I'm eating about a cup of food per sitting (FAR less than a normal meal in the past.) I am sceduled for my first fill in just under 2 weeks. I can't WAIT for the restriction. I'm hoping it will nix the hunger I am feeling. I am down 19 total pounds from pre-op. 9 prior to surgery and 10 more since 8/6. I know it will be slow until the first fill...I just want to be skinny TODAY! I'm walking 30 minutes daily and just started my 20 minute toning DVD in the mornings! Hopefully that will help too!

Congrats to everyone...we are making it happen one day at a time!:wink2:

I am still sore and just taking small walks. I weighted 211 going into surgery, then was 224 day after surgery due to post op Water and gas I guess. Went down to 205.5 last week, now 204. I am still on semi liquids and into some cottage cheese.

I was always good at losing weight just always put it back on...LOL

Now hope to keep it off.

Take care

Pati

Hi All,

Here is my latest:

Since Jan - Down 31 lbs

Since Surgery - Down 20 lbs

Since last Friday - Down 5 lbs

Exercise this week - walked 2 times for about 1.5 miles

Let's hope it keeps going 5 lbs a week! I know I will slow down, but I am enjoying seeing the scale move fast. My clothes still fit. :P. I was hoping at least 1 thing would be too big so I can replace it.

I haven't lost 1 stinkin' pound since last Friday. I have not eaten more than a cup a meal, no snacking, less than 1000 calories a day, and did Turbo Jam videos 5 of the 7 days. I didn't expect to hit a plateau so quickly. I'm frustrated but not giving up.

I know how frustrating it can be when we don't lose weight! I am sure I'll be feeling like that soon too! Just keep telling yourself you'll get there in the long run!

Those exercising and not losing much may be putting back on muscle which weighs more than fat so I wouldn't stress too much, like lellow said your measurements are probably going down you are just starting to tone up which you will want in the long run!

We'll get there peoples!!

I know that I am a day late but I worked from 7 till 7 yesterday and was too tired to post. I did lose 3 pounds this week. Down from 243 to 240. I get to start eating regular foods on Wed. and my apetite has definately come back so I'm hoping I don't gain next week.

Forgot to weigh yesterday, so I did it this morning - so here is my Saturday weight:

Down 4 lbs this week! Need to pick up the exercise, that is a trouble area for me and I go back to work this coming week (teacher).

Congrats to all the losers this week! Stick with it if you maintained or gained!

Lost 6.5 this week on the pre-op liquid diet. Should've been more but my hormones are out of whack now and even though I'm on Depo shots, I'm PMSing and having breakthrough. Bloated like no body's business but haven't GAiNED my normal 2-5lbs! I think it means that I'm still losing liver-wise but with the bloating, just not showing up on the scale! I'm hoping this will end tomorrow b/c I'd like an accurate surgery day weight!!

I'll be banded by next WI too!! WooHoo!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
