hunger pains? hmmmm....i feel nothing

Well I was banded on Monday, and I dont have any hunger pains. I drink my Protein shakes and Water because I know I have to, but I dont feel the fullness either. Is this normal?

Anyone else experience this? does it go away and return back to normal?

I felt the same way for about 6 days. Then the hunger kicked in for me! Now on day 7 I can eat mushie foods and that has helped, I'm not hungry again. Enjoy the not being hungry feeling just make sure you keep drinking,.

It took me a week to start to feel hungry. Now I am trying to differentiate between head hunger and stomach hunger. Especially on days like today when my 5 little monkeys seem to forget that we have rules here!

I'm so glad you asked this question! I was banded on the 8th and I still have not felt hungry. It's very, very weird! Don't get me wrong, I like it, but it's very strange. I've been living off of water and Isopure.

I was not hungry at all until about day 5 or 6, then it really kicked in. I wanted to chew! Oh well, I still have another 11 days of full liquids - I will get there! A lot of it was head hunger, not real hunger. That is something I am going to have to learn to deal with and not respond to.
