Hi, hope you don't mind, I moved your thread out of introductions to the "powder Room".

Honestly, I think it is an individual thing. I have many friends who have lost weight, and when they have, they have gone down several bra sizes. Even when I was thin, I was large chested. I have lost weight several times over the years, but my breast have always remained the same size. Actually, I wish I would lose some in them, a C cup would be a nice change!

i don't think there is anyway to know for sure if it "will" or "will not" happen. for me, i went from a 38DD to a 32D - which is fine for me & the hubby:wink_smile:

Genetics also play a role in this, look at the women in your family for an idea.

My mom was a size 0 when she was younger and always had a full C cup.

I had a 46 DD when I was banded, I am now in a 38D..

It's going to depend upon how much of your boobs were fat and how much actual breast tissue. If you can remember being thin at any time, your boobs will probably return to that size (although maybe not as perky). I've gone from a really tight 22E to an 18F (Aus sizes) and I'm still spilling out of the cups, although I probably need an F-long :whatchutalkingabout I'm less than half way to goal and I'm figuring that at goal, I'll still be a 12F (our 12 = US 8). When I was young and skinny, I was a 12E but I think with all the extra skin in there, I'll still fill an F cup. Once that's done, all I'll need to do is have the boob lift, so my nipples don't keep getting stuck in my belly button :tt2:

Probably. I still have D cups but they are down to my navel now, sigh. They really are totally ruined and are going to require reconstructive work. Thank goodness its all I need, but I really need it. Next year. DH is very keen for me to do it, he likes boobs (as most men do) and I now have a very nice pair - for a 90 year old!

I have a total of six years of breastfeeding and three pregnancies behind me too though, that makes a difference, and nature never blessed me with pert boobs in the first place. I've seen others lose weight and their boobs are perfectly fine.

Size wise I couldnt be happier, if I lose a little more size as you often do with a lift, I dont mind being a C. I'm not really one for wanting large breasts, I just want a nicely shaped pair.

My parents told me a long time ago, that when i loose my weight to target goal (they never said how) that they would help me get boobs. My whole family (2 other sisters and mom) are all well...well endowed. Then there is me...NOTHING. SO...once my bug bites go away, hopefully they will follow through...which i know they will (after all for my wedding last august 25 they got me a hummerzine!! my childhood dream!)

geesh, we've noticed the shrinkage in the boob dept. already! just dh the other day started laughing and said, "wow babe, i can really notice the smaller & bigger boob!" being the smart ass that i am, i said,"i don't know why you're laughing, you're going to pay to make them look normal." that shut him up really quick!

i've always thought i had/have small boobs for a big girl,42c at my biggest, and i'm now at 40c. i have no kids, and i'm 25, and these things are saggy! i know i'll need 'em repaired after i'm done having babies.

I have lost almost 20 pounds. I have lost inches everywhere except my boobs. Mine have always been big, but now they are big and saggy.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
