I am ready for my Lap-Band adventure... the good and the bad!! I don't care what I have to go through... I just would like to be thin and look normal again. My doctor's office called me today and told me I was approved and all I have left to do is my lab work and chest x-ray. Then I go to see my doctor for my final weign in. I was wondering how long it will be before I have the surgery? I would appreciate having someone with experience to me help along the way? Thank You!! :wink2:

Congrats, I know what it's like to wait on your insurance to make this decision. I only had to wait a couple of weeks after insurance approval to have my banding. I'm two weeks in and feel great. The first few days were tough but got better quickly. Hang in there and be patient it will come and will be great.

That's wonderful. When is your procedure going to be done? I am 2 weeks in and feel great. My confidence has gone up so much. I don't get my 1st fill until the 17th of next month which is a bummer but I am just being very careful about what I eat. I am so excited about the future and what I know that me and my little new bandy can accomplish. I wish you well and know everything will go well. Good luck......
