Even if you don't have any restriction, a lot of docs want you to get in the habit of not drinking with your meals so it will be easier on you when you do get a considerable restriction.

u know my Dr. never told me not to drink with my meals either... I learned that from being on here... They expect u to know everything but if they don't tell u or educate u how in the heck should u know.. but congrats on being banded and getting your first fill...

My doc says the fluid you drink flushes the food through the pouch and makes you hungry all over again. don't drink and the food stays in the pouch longer, keeping you full longer.. good luckyou can do it
