  1. Yes! I also have a Baker's cyst, and have had 2 knee surgery and had my miniscus removed. the nest step is knee replacement, and my other knee has suffered also and I have ruptured discs in my back. My doc wrote me a script for aqua therapy (pool) and i go twice a week. I was banded on june 9, 2008, and have lost 50lbs. ask your doc and my insurance covers maybe yours will too...good luck

I am going for my second fill tomorrow, and hope it does something, because i also am getting frustrated and wondering if all this was for nothing. I was banded on june 9, and have lost 20 lbs, but I am also doing atkins and not cheating. well heck, I did that before the surg. good luck to all and I will keep you all posted on restriction after the second fill.
  3. Wow, I'm so glad I found someone elso who had endometrial ablation, I had it in March 07, and didn't bleed for a year, then in April 08, It came back and it has gotten heavier ever month, but not as bad as pre-op. however, it lasts for about 3 weeks then gone for 1 just like i have a normal cycle but lasts 2 weeks too long. I am going to be 52 in november, you would think someone would cut me a break huh?
  4. gotcha!! I should have figured it out...good luck you'll do great.
  5. Thanx Judy, without all the support I get from you guys I don't know what i'd do. How are you feeling? and how much have you lost since surg?
  6. Shar, they can't tell you what to do in a situation like this, I would probably just ad a few calories, and try to stabelize your wt. what is the NB diet, I can't figure it out. good luck, and don't worry too much, that may be why your losing also..
  7. Hi guys, just checking my ticker only lost 2 lbs, sigh, be worse it could have gone up 2lbs. it just seems so slow, I feel like i lost more just dieting alone. oooohhhh, don't listen to me, I never would have lost this much alone..............
  8. Dear nbflo, I wish I could say the 36 lbs was since june, but I lost 18 lbs before surg, then 10 lbs 1st week after surg, then gained 7 back, got 1st fill july 15 and lost 16 since then. As long as it keeps coming off, thats key, cause before surg it always went up... you'll do fine shar just keep focused and take one day at a time.
  9. Dear nbflo, I had the most discomfort the first few days after the surgery, then it got better everyday after that. now i just have some discomfort where the port is but its nothing extreme, just a little tender. don't sweat the small stuff, the real work begins after healing, cause your whole life as you know it (eating) will change, and it is work....but it will all be worth it in the end.....
  10. Dear nbflo, I did not consider bypass because it was just too invasive and risky for me. I do not regret my decision and although it is a slower process, and takes more willpower, like judy said it is reversible if need be. you should not decide until after the seminar, and talking with the m.d. Good luck on your journey.....
