Hello The Band Fam!

Just wanted to say, No, Im not being banded. I started looking on here for my sister Nikkee31, before she had her surgery. So I linked her here, and she's been here ever since. For some reason I find myself browsing on here( I dont know why)! LOL But its all good though. You guys may remember me from keeping you all updated when she was away w/ her banding. However I enjoy reading new things, so I can help her stay up on what's new, etc. Jus wanted to say hi and I support all you guys on your journey of weight loss.

p.s. I noticed some people asked her about her avitar's and siggy. Hit me up mskaramel2002@yahoo.com for a request.

Hi, What a nice sister you are

I remeber you keeping us all updated on your sister the day of her surgery.

It is great she has you for such support.

Thanks for the support to all of us as well ;)

My sis has done an excellent job with keeping me informed with everything about the band and the success stories of some of you on here. Ash was a bit uneasy about me getting the band and I appreciate her for taking the time to educate herself about it and to see that there was really nothing to worry about.(Smile) She has been on this forum so much that I think she may even be able to perform the surgery. ROFL Just kidding about that, but she really has a lot of knowledge about it. She is my number #1 motivator and I just want to take this time to say THANK YOU ASHLEY for everything. I love u! P.S. She's quite the webdesigner too, if any of you would like a cool avatar or signature she is the BEST. (Smile)

Okay, I'm really glad you got your own screen name, and cool avatar and sig. What a great supporter! Be sure to support US, too! Hook us up with links to other related threads of you notice them, give us a big thumbs up if we need it, all that stuff. You can be ALL our sister supporters! hehe. Glad you are here!

Oh my gosh, how do I get this on my sig??????

You are so sweet, can't wait to figure this out!!! I'll PM you if I can't do it...

I did it!!! It is lovely. You are such a dear! thank you :)

Hi & welcome! It's so refreshing to see the family member of a fellow bandster on here! How cool is that!!!!

Let me just say how awesome I think you are for giving Nikkee the support that she needs right now.

I too am so grateful to my own mother, who not only was the one to suggest WLS to me, but to support me from the beginning to end. She has been to appointments with me, watched my son for me, and has been cheering me on the whole time. All this while she herself struggles with her own weight issues. (She doesn't have a high enough BMI too be banded here in the US, so sadly that isn't an option for her.)

Anyway.....thanks again for being such a wonderful sister. It means the world to us who are struggling to get our weight under control, and who are having to adjust to the new freedoms that we now feel with each melting pound.

YOU ROCK!!!!
