Just got back from my initial consult and meeting with the nurse at True Results in Houston. Everyone there was really nice and helpful. Cindy, my advocate/counselor, gave an in-depth overview of what the lapband surgery was like and answered every question I and my hubby asked. Every person I met with (counselor, nurse, and nurse practitioner) had been banded and had experience phenomenal results. No one, of course, ever regretted making the decision to get banded.

I had to have an EKG because my BMI is greater that 40. Mine is 40.2! No blood work is necessary because it just so happens that my pcp did lab work on me last week during an annual physical. Since I'm paying out of pocket, this saves me $150.00.

I'm going with Dr. Spivak. He's been doing lapband surgeries longer than anyone in Houston and haven't heard anything negative about him at all!

Hello!!! I am a True Results Houston patient!!

I am a patient at True Results in Houston. I had my pre-op on April 23. I am waiting for Surgery Date. I have called Dr's office since appointment and no date yet. I am a little anxious. I was not sure when to start my pre-op so I started Tuesday. But I was not given an offical diet. So I am following what I hear from you all. I am getting a little discouraged.
