Fastest Rate of Weight Loss?

I know that you're supposed to lose the weight fairly slowly (2-3lbs per week), but has anyone just had the weight fall off faster than usual? Were you exercising?

At one point, I was losing around 5 pounds a week. It was about 2 months after surgery and I was going with about 900 calories a day, high Protein and working out 1 hour of cardio a day for 6 days a week. It lasted for about 2 months until I hit my first plateau. Then I went to about 1-2 pounds a week, (same workout and diet)

Now however I'm at a self-imposed 2 month plateau. (I'm being lazy and I know it.)

It depends on how much weight one has to lose as well as your body. One of the things that can help you avoid major plateaus is changing up your diet and workout plan.

has any of you gained and then lost i heard of loss then stand still but to go up & down i had my sugery on the 5th of may lost 34 as of june 28th then up 5 then lost the five as of today but i dont get it is it me i thought droping and stand still was normal but gaining ? what a roller coaster ride im on and i wanna get off..lol

I've definitely had weeks where I've lost a little more and weeks when I've lost less or even gained. I try not to get frustrated with the gains b/c I know I'm doing everything right. I think it's just normal. Our bodies are very complex! I really need a fill right now...fortunately I'm scheduled for one Tuesday!
