The doubt in my mind is subsiding and the excitement is setting in!

I was really having doubts as to whether I could do this or not, but I am getting excited as my surgery date draws near. I was looking at a sale catalog last night from Eddie Bauer and looking at all of the fun summer clothes that I will be able to fit into next summer!!!

I think the thing I have been the most nervous about are the first few weeks after surgery and the liquid diet. I am happy to say though that I am sitting here drinking a cup of DECAF coffee!!! This is a biggy for me. I have not cut out diet coke 100% yet, but I also feel comfortable with letting that go too. I have a really nice blender that I am eying for when my stimulus check comes. Things are falling into place!

Congrats on your up and coming surgery. I drank diet pepsi before surgery and thought it would be hard to give up but it was not at all. I have tried it since surgery and it just doesnt sit well with me anymore so I no longer desire it. I have found a drink that is similar to Crystal Lite which I buy at Walmart and comes in Grape, Orange and Cherry that I now drink all the time. It is sugar free with no calories. As for coffee I am bad, I drink a cup a morning.

I watch all I eat and work out regularly and with that I have had great success. My husband is even thinking about doing the surgery now.

I wish you the best of luck. Keep us posted on your journey

Hugs

Paula
