You know you are a Bandster when the whole family asks "Is it stuck" just by the look on your face.

Thanks!!! Yeah that would be the number I was screaming for everyone to see lol.

I may not be the cutest but I'm pretty doggone quick!

You know you are bandster when you have memorized the precise calories, carbs, fat grams, and protein grams of every protein drink ever made. AND you have analyzed them all for taste, aftertaste, and level of satiety! (and price - LOL!)

  • 2 weeks later...

before being banded you were the first one to finish your meal and now you are the last one at the table.:cursing:

* when after all day you've only had water and an apple juice...you wonder if the hard candy in your mouth is going to make you gain weight...

i'm a new bander and still on liquids:(

When your support group goes to a nice restaurant for dinner...

Party of 10

Mostly "chubby" people (cause we're newly banded)

The waiters are all hyped up (THIS is gonna be a huge bill!)

Then everyone orders an appetizer and Water w/ Lemon is the most exciting drink! LMAO

No one eats the bread on the table & the waiters keep returning- 'Can we get you guys ANYTHING else?'

My doctor gave me a card that he wrote on that says I have a medical reason for needing to order kids meals. I show that at restaurants when they give me crap for ordering off the kids menu

When you use that card like a police officer uses his badge- leather bound case- laminated etc... LOL

Everyone at work thinks you got a new cell phone when in fact it's really your mini-food-scale in disguise!

OR

When you go out to dinner and everyone else at the table tells you what to order so they will enjoy what you don't eat!

OR

You tell everyone else what to order, so you can take a bite of each of their entrees and not have to order anything at all!
