wow! Thanks so much for that list!! Im being banded tomorrow, and now see that there are still a few things that i need to get in the morning!! Thanks a lot for posting this!

Great List. I Went To Walmart Today, Got The Gas-x Strips. Cherry Sleep Melts, Looked For The Toilet Tongs, Didn't Find It But They Did Have Some Personal Beauty Thing. It Was Curved And Long With A Kind Of Spongey Thing On The End, But It Was $2o, So I Thought I Would Wait And See If I Need It.. Called The Ins. This Morn. And Was Told My Papers Weren't Complete. Holy Heck... Went To Walmart, The Surgeon Had Again Faxed Paper Work, By The Time I Got Back, I Had A Message, Approved.... Thank Goodness. So I Am Ready. They Said You Can Pack Now... June 11 Is My Date. Will Let You All Know How It Turns Out.. Thanks Judy

I plan on getting some of the items but not spending a fortune or having everything. I have read on other threads with the same list that many people did not use many of the non-food items so I would not go out and spend a lot of money on these until you know you need it.

You really need

 heating pad

:sleep:Liquid Tylenol

:smile2:Ice chips

:cool2:crystal light

:wink2:lip balm

:closedeyes:sf jello, yogurt, sf pudding

:wink_smile:liquid protein

:unsure::unsure:and that is about it for the first 3 days.

:)

Cathy Chatts- what do you mean by liqiud protein in your list of things for the first 3 days? Since it is a full liquid diet, do you mean Isopure? Are there others out there?

Isopure is fine, I got some new Whey Liquid protein bullets at GNC. They are 3 oz tubes and I take 1 oz at a time. The 3 oz have 42 gr of protein and 0 sugar and 0 fat. They go down easy and take care of the hunger.

They look like koolaid.

I'm heading out with this list in a bit. Thank you so much for posting it. I know I've done my research but I feel like all my knowledge has flown out the window since tomorrow is surgery. Same thing happened the day before my c-section.

Thanks again!

Thanks so much for that list! I was about to head to Walmart and get what I thought I'd need but I stopped by the computer to jump on and see if I could read some and get a general idea. Your list is exactly what I was looking for! My date is tomorrow and I am so excited and ready to do it!

This was a great list. Instead of the blender I would recommend the "Bullet". I bought it for $50 from Costco.Well worth it, more individualized for smaller portions for our tiny tummys!
