Wow, I'm excited for you!!! Good luck :)

I'm sure nervous eating right before surgery is normal. I know I'd be eating, if not for anything else but to say good bye to an old friend. Food... aaah how I love food. It is my drug of choice.

GOOD LUCK

Deb

I was on a low carb diet from Dec. 07 until 10 days prior to my surgery in which I was on a 10 day liquid diet with at least 3 protein shakes a day. It is all worth it... I did have 'one last meal' before I started my 10 day liquid diet on April 7th 08.. banded on April 16th....

thank you have you had the surgery yet

No I haven't had my surgery yet. I am in the early stages of this long process...getting my PCP on board, doing the informational meetings and those sort of things.

I'm incredibly envious of you though. I'd love to be on the other end of this, in due time though.
