Does anyone know what this new "Rep Power" is by our names?

Do you see the little scale looking thing below posters names? If you particularly like someone's post, or find it be helpful, you can click on that and add to their reputation and comment why you are doing so.

So, basically the number is a representation of how many people have commented favorably on that particular user.

Okay, I promise I am not at total loser, but I read Wheetsin's explanation on where to see your comments and I don't see any, but I have a number by my Rep power. Could it be that someone just didn't leave a comment?

Or am I just a dork and completely overlooking it?
