I got the phone call!!!

Hi! I just finally recieved the phone call from the clinic saying that my surgery is going to be on April 29th. I have a pre-op appointment with the dietician, and then a pre-op appointment with my doctor soon. She figured within the next week or so. So, my question is is this. When I met with the surgeon in January, he said that I'd need to be on a 4 week liquid diet. Soooo, the woman that I talked to today said that I need to just wait and meet with the dietician. Sooo, should I start the 4 week liquid diet, or do I wait?

Congrats on the phone call!! :biggrin2:

If your surgeon requires anything like my surgeon does (I'm Day 1 on an all liquid diet ..) When he said 4 weeks.. I think he meant 2 weeks pre-op and 2 weeks post-op ... I would wait till you meet with the dietician! :)

Good luck!

Nesser, I am also scheduled for the 29th. I'm happy to find someone with the same band date as me!

My surgeon requires a 2 week Medifast pre-op diet. I go for my Nutrition class and pre-op testing on April 10th. I'm guessing I will start the diet after that.
