Hello Everyone!!

So today I got up at 5:30am....(YUCK) and headed to Rochester for my 3 hour nutrition class... really didnt learn too much I didnt already know. A few good things but nothing outstanding as I had hoped. Asked a few questions... My hubby went with me. I think it made him more worried than he was before but I was able to re aasure him that everything will be okay.

I then had to have MORE blood work done, EKG, Chest Xray, and Urine analisis.

I wont lie im kinda tired of being poked and pinched and proded and put under the mirco scope but in the same respect I understand its all necessary and I'd much rather be safe than sorry.

All in all this has been a really ''quick'' process for me. I started Feb 10th and I have surgery 06/28.

I was down another 12 pounds since my last visit (13 days ago) so I wont lie... I treated myself with pizza for dinner tonight...feeling a little guilty...but not too worried.

Val we will be in surgery on the same day!!!

I hope yours goes well and easy and quick and perfect for you and that you are home safe and sound and on your way back to comfy as soon as possible!! I will keep you in my thoughts as the anisteziologist puts me under too HEHE.

Hope you all had a wonderful day.. just thought i'd post my days events!:)

It's difficult. I'm trying to get back focused.

I went to the Greek Festival and had some lamb, I loved it but my gallbladder did'nt...it messed with me for like 3 days. I might have to have it removed. Another setback:mad:

Having my Gallbladder removed was the 2nd best thing I ever did, the bloat and pain went away instantly!
everyone is welcome to come...the more the merrier
I so wish I could come, I am still a little tapped right now to be traveling.
Hi Jen,

Congrats on your "inbetweenguy"!

Thank you, I know not long term but I'm very happy and know how I should be treated

Do you use a portable DVD player near the pool for the Water Aerobics cd? CD player, anyone want a copy? I'll burn some if anyone is interested

I must not be "growed-up" yet, went to the bar Sat night and had a good time burning them calories. I was dancing with three guys at once! lol ...don't know how that happened??? One minute I was dancing by myself ..the next, they had me surrounded ...I was scurrred lol! It was good time.

GO YOU! I do have to say, anyone who can remember, until I went to work I was out with the bad boys and going to the bar every night until 2-3 am. I' never knew that I could be treated so well.
Oh yeah and holly crab.. LOL

I'm now in the 200's hit another milestone - So now I'm just about half way to my goal of losing 240 + lbs...... Yipee!!

Congrats! My original goal by the"typical weight loss" and going above and beyone was 195 - I'm now at 173 and will be at 150 by the end of summer. You can reach your goals! Trust me, took 3 years but i had some pretty long plateaus... you can do it

Vicki

Hey there girlfriend. I've thougth of you so much..How are things with you? send me an email would ya" fill me in.

Well, going to bed, 4am comes very early

Today is day 2 on my liquid diet...its a hard thing for me...but It will be okay Monday will be here before I know it!!!

Hope you are all doing fantastic!! <3

Do you feel any different having the sleeve? Was recovery more painful or about the same?

Are you on liquids and if so, how long?

Hi everyone. I saw Dr Hoffman on Tues and my blood pressure was rather low 88 over 66 , but I don't think anyone told Dr Hoffman, I should have but I was so out of it. After my visit I went home I still wasn't feeling right so I called my PCP and I went to the emergency room and stayed overnight for dehydration. It happened so fast has anyone else felt this way.:)

wow val, i think im jelouse, they say the sleeve is easier and u will lose weight faster. why couldn't he do the band? How do u feel about getting the sleeve, you must have talked to the hoff before surgery in order for him to go ahead with it, did he feel it might be a problem. Hope u feel better soon.:tt1:

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
