well actually i was out by about 1045. they think i may have had something stuck and that caused inflammation. they checked my band and i only had 2cc in it, and they took out 1cc. i have to go back in 6 weeks if im still too tight i need to have a swallowing study

Hi all

just checking in. dealing with many deamons in my life and trying to close some doors, its harder than I thought.

bouncing up and down 5lbs and my throat is burning 24/7 so eating comfort food, and probably too much, i'm sure the 6 miles i walk or the hr on the elliptical are the only things keeping my weight stable

Vicki - thanks for asking - family court, made out good but just emotional draining, and i just want to be away and i'm still being haunted. my lack of trust and fear of being hurt again is preventing me from moving on

I hope you get your fill. are you journaling your food?

Val - that is great. I always lose Fluid in my band, so probably 1.25 in there max was 1.5 in a 4cc band I was suppose to go for a fill today but cancelled, I am not in a good place for a one, I need to be ready and it will work. I'm too distracted to stay focused

Hi Ladies,

Well I went for my appt last tues and was up 12lbs (291)!:tt1:

So I did get a fill of just under .7cc ..it seems to be working although I could be little bit tighter. I weighed today on my scale and was 287 so it's starting to come down. Maybe I can lose 15lbs by my next appt in 6 weeks.

Good for u vet, your weight is good. don't worry about the 12, its probably Water.< /p>

I still cant talk right, sounds like laryngitis, but it is from being intubated, said my cords might be permanenly damaged, gotta see a ent specialist to see whats up. I also am up 12 lbs so your not alone. see him on tues, hope to get a fill...:w00t:

Vicki, do'nt think about how long its going to take to get the extra weight off. Just take it one day at a time and concentrate on what you should do for that day. That's what i'm doing to help myself get back on track. :scared2:

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
