3lbs to go and I won't be Obese

I think one of my biggest hangups has been the word OBESE and all the wondeful little words they like to stick in front of it. Obese reminds me of the word beast.

Is it anyone's goal just to get past the obese label or do you want to get to the "healthy weight"? I wonder how many people get to a certain point that is not their goal and just say "This is just great for me"

I don't think I am one of them. I just can't see myself at 145 lbs. I don't even know myself in the mirror now

congrats! I was thrilled when I just became "overweight" :lol

good luck on finding your goal- mine is in the middle of my healthy weight range for my height but the next mini goal is healthy weight

you can do it!

8 more lbs for me and I'll be joining you in losing the "obese" label. I HATE that word! That will definitely be a day of celebration for me. Probably more so than breaking into Onederland was. I plan to get a nice smoking haircut and color in celebration and to reward myself. Keep up the good work! You're almost there!

I'm almost there tooo!!!!! According to fitday I am there but according to the ticker calc I'm right at a 30 bmi.

Just not having that word as a part of my description is fabulous!!

I don't know what my end weight will be. I've decided on 120 but I don't know if I'll get happy before then or if I need to go further. My doc doesn't think I need to lose anymore. He clearly hasn't seen my thighs or my stomach very well lol.

Congrats mandyjo!!!!!

10lbs more and I will also be joining you guys in the "overweight" category. It will be nice not to be OBESE.

Congratulations to all of you!! I still have 30 pounds before I lose the label. I don't remember a time when I wasn't considered obese, maybe elementary school? I honestly don't know. I still have a long ways to go

About 20lbs ago I was verrrry tempted to say "enough" and stick with where I was. Then I decided that I was in this for the long haul so I continued.

It's worth it to get down there, it's fun buying cute clothes.

3 more lbs, now, for me! I'm so excited. I see wombat hit it. WTG!

SO close, I can almost taste it. Keep up the great work, ladies!

When I lose 6 more pounds I will be just "obese", no longer severe obese. I am actually excited about. I can't wait to be overweight!

Congrats!

I just hit "overweight" this morning!! Thanks Steph!!!!!

Dang it feels good!!! I remember the first time a doctor said obese to me - I was 21 and absolutely mortified. I was insulted, furious and all that - how could IIIII be obese.

Mandyjo - how are you doing? You are getting soooo close
