How long were you off from work?

I'm scheduled for surgery on the 30th of Jan. How long were you off from work? I've read on this site some have gone back to work in a week. Is that average?

For my job I am constantly walking around, in and out of a truck and lifting very heavy bags and tubs of mail so I know I want at least 3 weeks off. Like someone said before.....it's all about what you do.

I was banded on Tue and back to work the next Tues-

I had a really rough time, especially yesterday for some reason... today I am almost at 100%. And I had a hernia repair as well.
