The Shrinkin' Violets are planning a meet and we cordially invite you to attend!

What: Talking, drinking, spa treatments, talking, photo ops, not much sleeping, bonding, drinking, talking, fun, surprises... and more!

For those who will be flying in to the Washington, DC, area... you have 3 choices for airports: BWI (outside Baltimore), Dulles (in Virginia), and Reagan National (in DC). I've listed these in order from best to worst... so try to get into BWI! You'll want your flight to ARRIVE on FRI, MAY 16, in the MORNING (by 11am - Noon)! You'll want your flight to DEPART on MON., MAY 19, in the EVENING (after 6pm). Why? Because it's about 1 hour from the airport to my house (our staging area)... then approx. 3 hours to the Lake. Please try to coordinate flights, so efficient pick-up, drop off can be organized!

If anyone wants to fly in on Thurs., May 15 or out Tues., May 20, I'll be happy to pick you up @ the airport AND you may stay here at my home.

Figure Laura must have had an extra day off with the holiday---she will check in when she gets back I bet! Unless she hits it big, and is off buying herself a deserted island somewhere!!!

Jane you will never be homeless!!! I think you got put on the side list of maybe wanting a private room---but you can always room with us!!!! I was teasing Jenn---the other day she left me off of the headcount list....told her I felt unwanted!!! My DH always refers to that as feeling like a redheaded stepchild. BUT--I have a red headed (bottle) step child, and I kinda like her a little bit!!!

Nuh uh... yer not going to get special treatment for buttering up the old fart. I'll have my hair in a bun, pencil sticking out from it, orthopedic shoes on, cardigan sweater, pleated wool skirt, ruler in hand and the "LOOK". Nothing shall get past me. Beware!!

mom is stressing about her money so she is freaking about me going away. she was all for it and now has me feeling like shit about it. she will get over it and not to worry about that... just want her to be excited about something for me...

everything I suggest for me to do or that i get excited about she puts down. My dad talks to me like I'm 2 and they wonder why I don't know what direction I'm going in or where to start.

was shopping over the weekend... Target has swimsuits out. I am going to get one very soon. I usually get Tankini and they have nice boy shorts and skirted bottoms....

they also have very cute coverups. Lucky for me I am wearing a lg/xlg depending on what they are so I'm all over that for our trip. They are little cotton sundresses. I'll probably get a lg and might even get a few sun dresses for our trip.

I love the quality of target's suits .... just thought i would pass that along
