bandisized wednesday 2 jan 08

text book procedure...couldn't have gone better...but I'm really hungry for real food but have to play the game by the rules....excited about leaving the realm of 300+ pounds and start charging down hill thru the 200's! I collected 15 pages of your recipies but being a "guy" I have nothing to contribute. Haven't had an original thought ever. But would still like to get a copy of the menu book someone was putting together. Thanx for all the comments you gals post and it is much better than the meeting they have here in Denver.:clap2:

Congrats on surgery!!!!! You poor thing....I have not heard many stories of folks who were hungry at 2 days post-op. Most of us completely lose our appetites for at least a few days if not a week or two immediately post-op! You're getting ripped off on the "honeymoon" phase!

But, you are right...you have to play the game and you can do it. You already have the right attitude to succeed.

Keep sipping those liquids and happy healing!

I got banded 2 days before you can I am also feeling the hunger, especially in the evening. Stick to the liquid cause someone local that had the band for 2 weeks had some chili and reacted to it. She ripped apart inside

Not trying to scare anyone, just remember that we are healing. I find popsicles help and bulion cubes with hunger (sometimes)
