Not Enough Calories

Anyone else told their stall was probably caused by not eating enough calories I am 6 months out from bypass and eat about 700 calories a day. Have been in a stall for 3 weeks. My surgeon said I needed to start eating more not sure how I can barely eat what I do now

Just wanted to give an update on those who didn’t believe me. I have a major construction that they can’t fix yet because of other health problems. I now have a feeding tube for those of you who are new to this community please keep in mind people can can be very cruel when you come to them with a real problem and they decide not to believe you

After a bypass, your body may occasionally stall due to insufficient calories. It is attempting to retain energy. Restarting progress can be achieved by gradually increasing your consumption of nutrient-dense foods.

If it's helpful, you can use programs like MyCalSuite to track your calories and macros, which makes it simpler to determine whether you're getting enough fuel while adhering to your plan. A slight increase in calories can sometimes have a significant impact. Stalls typically pass, so be patient!
