Post-op day 3 and struggling

I had my surgery 4 days ago and am experiencing a lot of discomfort in my stomach every time I drink - even tiny sips of water. I’m worried if this doesn’t get better soon I’ll have to go in for IV hydration. Did anyone else have a hard time keeping up with liquid intake postop? I knew it would be hard but I didn’t realize it would be so painful….

I am 5 weeks post op. Drinking water gets easier as time passes. I could not keep water down for 3 weeks and it really frustrated me. Now it’s all good! Plus: try drinking really cold water, it helped me a lot!

I get my protein in with Evolve protein drinks and no sugar yogurts and cottage cheese throughout the day. I don’t have a hunger feeling so I have to try and time it.
