I had convinced myself I had been eating too much despite not having any signs of overeating and bought a scale to alleviate any problems, it really helps get a precise number on what you are eating.

Hi guys

how much OZ of food could you consume 3 months post op?

thankyou :)

At 3 months, Probably 3-5 fluid ounces at a time (approx 1/2 cup).

Lower end it it was meat, higher end if it was yogurt or something “looser”.

Now this amount was about the volume to eat that would satisfy as well as not feel any discomfort.

Same as MS.SSS. About 4 ounces of food at that point. Any more would cause me pain in my chest. Now, after 8 months I can do a little bit more but not much. 5 is normal for me, 6 is on the edge of hurting depending on what it is.

At 3months all I could handle was 2-3 oz and now at one year I can handle approx 4-5 oz depending on what it is.

Hope this helps!!
