I don’t see any sleep for you. Find something to binge watch and don’t even try to sleep. You must be SO excited! ❤️

Good luck tomorrow! I'll see you on the other side of this! I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 am tomorrow! Getting VERY nervous! Also hoping I've shrunk my liver enough. scale has hardly moved this week even though I haven't cheated at all! Hoping its just muscle gain since I've been going to the gym all week.

Thank you! Yes, it is a huge thing out of the way.
NOW, I find I’m both excited AND nervous about the surgery. I had only been excited previously. I guess that was to be expected.

5/6 was my RNY as well. I am sleeping half the night in my bed and the rest of it in a recliner. I bought one of those college pillows with the arms to keep me propped up and easier to make it out of bed. But my back starts to hurt since I can’t side sleep so I come down to recline about 4a or so. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I wish I had thought of that although our bed is rather high and I'm rather short. Given my currently level of pain/soreness when standing/sitting, I cannot even get on the bed without a step stool. I foolishly attempted it last night and then quickly realized BAD IDEA. Back to my recliner I went cursing under my breath the whole way ;)

Glad to know I have a surgery buddy. I look forward to following you on your wls journey!

During my research over the past several months, I've read various posts with suggestions of what to bring to the hospital...NONE of which I can find now. So, any help with my recall is appreciated!

Hospital checklist:

robe
heating pad
chapstick
Biotene spray
earphones

What am I missing?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
