ME TOO! I had a dream that I forgot to shave my legs and grossed out the surgeon and he wouldn't do the surgery...... yikes

I just got back from my last weigh-in before surgery Monday. I'm the first one @ 7:30am. I'm very excited and prepared for what needs to be done. Wow this is going to be great!!

I'm excited, getting nervous and already wishing it was over! I'm scheduled at 1:30 on the 18th. I am bummed that it's so late in the day because that's a long time to go without drinking and I have no chance of going home same day.

Welcome... I know that's a long time to wait!! I have a personal connection with my doctor, he works here at my hospital where I work. He's only here one day a week in our OR to do general surgery. So when I started my doctor checks I found him to be the best in Buffalo... Once we met for the first time in his clinic for Lap-Band he was totally floored he knew me from being around/seen as an employee!! That was my shoe in for good treatment....LOL,LOL,LOL I let him know in a fun way no parties, drinking, sex, plenty of sleep the night before my surgery.... We laughed like crazy..... He has such a bed side mannor that cannot be matched by anyone else.... In my check on him I found out he even jumps in at Children's Hospital here in Buffalo to help in the Surgery unit.... Now that totally melted my heart!!

I'm on the 18th at 12:30 p.m. I'm not nervous.

Just so ready to get done with this liquid diet. At first it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, but now I'm really ready for something.... pureed. Yum, I can have that the day after my surgery.

I took the day off yesterday and got a manicure and pedicure! I was feeling sorry for myself. Oh poor me, can't eat out (I love to eat out) can't buy new clothes (what's the point right now?) It worked. I think maybe I should take off every other day to do that. :clap2:

The good news is, I lost 5 lbs. right before starting liquids by doing a few days on Atkins Induction. And got up this a.m. and I'm down another 5 lbs. Woo hoo!

Awesome...... You're doing so good. I am to so excited and want the Surgery over. I mean that is our goal for now and then we can start the new year off as pure Bandsters....... I wish you the best on Tue. I will be on my way home while you're having yours placed..... I will truly think of you all during my banding..... I will write back ASAP when I can!! I want to connect with you guys if you like during or new healthy way of life!! Team December!!! LOL

Well this is my last day at school.... trying to get sub plans around... poor band and orchestra kids have to watch movies all next week because I couldn't find a music sub.... have been trying.... actually the week before holiday break is ok for them to watch movies......

this is really going to happen...... I feel less nervous/anxious today then yesterday. I check in with my surgeon today at 4:30

Well, surgery is on Monday December 17 at 1:15 (arrive to hospital at 11:30) and I am starting to feel anxious, nervous, can't stay busy enough, you name it. I cleaned house yesterday and am going to go back through and clean again today.

I hope that everything goes well for each and every one of us that has surgery coming up. I personally could not ask for a better Christmas/New Year gift.

Glad to see I'm not the only nervous one out there!! I'm up for surgery at 7 am Monday Dec 17th. I'm going crazy and having cravings for pizza and all the junk that would probably make my liver swell back up if I give in, of course I'm so hungry I'd probably eat the whole pizza!!!

I'm scared, relieved and impatient all the same. I just have to keep looking at the before/after pix on LBT and that gets my butt moving.

I hope the surgery is not too bad!

better go, I'm off to finish Christmas shopping!

Well the hospital just called me and I have to be there at 6:15AM and surgery at 7:30 Monday morning :scared::eek::):D:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

Mine is one Wednesday I have to be at the hospital at 6:30AM

OMG I am so not functional at that time in the morning. heh. Maybe I will sleep through the whole thing lol.

I am getting really nervous I had a physical with my GP and she was worried about my blood pressure but when I told her I was having a bit of anxiety she just waited and retested and I am ok. she is giving me a prescription for some anxiety meds.

*deep breath* I just have to remember that this was my choice and I will be better off for it.
