Sleeve 3 days ago- sternum discomfort even when not drinking!

I had the sleeve 3 days ago and obviously it was uncomfortable/painful in my chest due to the gas. Well now I'm still having discomfort even when Im not taking a sip of fluids, pressure will randomly start at the sternum then subside. Normal??

Are you taking Gas-X or another gas medicine? My sternum still bothers me a month out if I gulp or get gassy. Since you're just a couple days out, it's probably from the surgery, so walk as much as you can and take something to help relieve it.

I am taking gas-x. Sometimes/often the sternum discomfort comes even when Im not taking a drink though.. is this normal?

I am having this same exact issue. I went to my post op appointment yesterday and my Dr told me it is completely normal.
