Weight loss wall
I feel like I’ve hit a wall. It’s like I started losing a good amount of weight for the first few weeks. Now I’m at week 6 and I feel like I haven’t lost anymore. My husband says I have. But idk. I don’t feel like I have. Anyone else have this issue ? Or have any insight ?

I knew nothing about this ! Wow. Thanks

Eating to fast
Does anyone else struggle with this? If I don’t struggle with anything else I definitely struggle with this. I don’t know why even after 5 weeks I have trouble reprogramming my mind to eat slower. I never paid attention to how fast I consume food until after surgery. I mean obviously I never had a reason to before now lol. All suggestions are welcome ?

One month post op
I’m just a little bored on this soft food/purée phase. I’m making ricotta bake tonight. I did a puréed chicken salad with Greek yogurt and some other seasonings to eat on this week for lunch. Lots of other recipes I’ve tried but guess I’m just bored now. All suggestions welcome !

Vegan/Plant-based food
This is extremely helpful! Thank you ! I am exactly a month post op today. While currently still in the soft food phase, I’m finding it difficult to implement small vegan portions into my eating other than hummus and avocado. Any suggestions you can offer (if any) will be appreciated. I figured this phase would be challenging to fit in vegan options. I guess I’m just eager to start. I’ve done months of research and yet still learning new things daily.

Vegan/Plant-based food
Yes that is exactly what I’d like to know! I am 98% sure I would like to transition. The other 2% is how to do that.

Vegan/Plant-based food
As of 11/30 I’ll be 4 weeks post op. I’m still currently on the soft food/puréed phase. So this question definitely wouldn’t pertain to right now. But I’m just curious if anyone has attempted vegan/plant based foods as an alternative to regular food. I’ve done lots and lots of research over the last several months on vegan/plant based eating. But I’d like to know if any other Bariatric patients have considered this.

Soft Food Phase
My doctor guidelines stated that whole wheat toast is allowed during the soft food phase. Anyone else had similar guidelines like this ? Just curious.

Soft food/purée phase
Awesome !! I am headed to the store now ! I also found a chicken salad recipe that seems like it would be a good option. I just can’t get with purée everything ! Lol So thanks for this insight !!

Soft food/purée phase
Tomorrow I start my soft food/purée stage. My doctor gave the option of puréed foods or chewing food to a puréed state. What are some options that have worked for you all ? I’m asking because I am just a little uncertain. I know everyone’s body is different in what it can take. But just want a little insight.

Other Protein Alternatives
Protein water ! I’ve seen a couple on Amazon. Are they available in the stores or do you have to order them?

Other Protein Alternatives
I am 10 days post op. For the most part I’m able to reach my protein goals which is 60-64 grams per day. But I am struggling because I am tired of drinking the protein shakes. It takes me a long time to finish them. Does anyone else have this issue. If so what have you found that are some alternatives?
