RANCH DRESSING SEASONING:

Never knew about it before. Now I sprinkle it on my 2 cups vegetables per day. Lifesaver. Thought anyone who agrees would dig this video:

I had my VSG just last week in July 14th. The recovery has been so hard!

I hope things get easier for you soon. Has it been difficult due to pain, are you having a tough time getting your liquids down, or a little of both?

Congrats on the surgery & feel better.

I hope you are all feeling better and doing great post-surgery. And @AmandaFilm, please tell us what's been going on with your recovery. I hope you feel better too!

Hi I had mine on the 14th and I’m struggling with pain and also hunger. Is there a good snack out there ? Besides Jello?

Sugar free popsicles!

Just completed my op on 7/14 and after excruciating day 1 gas pains, found this site. I can tell it's going to be so helpful and hope to contribute :)

Hello All, I am scheduled for VSG tomorrow July 20th 2021. . In 2011 I had a lapband placed and did very well until I had complications/sepsis. I had emergency surgery in 2016 to have it removed. I am excited to have a second chance with the sleeve but a little nervous as well…..

@Bluebonnetgirl it really is trial and error on what a sip is for you. Sometimes I try to drink and forget about my new baby stomach and it hurts ? I have to be mindful. It isn’t super fun right now

I really don't have to sip at all. I can take a regular size drink as long as I don't gulp it down.

Good luck to you! I am 2 weeks post-op also after having a successful Lap Band experience that lasted over 13 years.

Hope you feel better soon. A heating pad and slow gentle motion such as rocking when sitting and walking will be your best friends.
