Not nervous at all just wondering how long would it take before I’m up on my feet and is there any hospital stay and how soon would I’m able to return to work those are my concerns I know it depends on the individual

Hello Jeanine Buck. It varies from person to person. I had a lap band taken out and sleeved on 2/23...15 days ago. I had surgery on Tuesday, overnight in hospital. Went home the next day 250 miles way. Went to work in my home office on Thursday. The day I woke up in the hospital from surgery I was uncomfortable from gas they used during surgery. I was able to burp almost all of the gas out before leaving the hospital. I drank alot of Water and walked lot that first day. I have had no pain since. I hope you have as uneventful a recovery as I had. This is not the case with everyone. You will be fine and will not regret it!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
