2 days post-op and my BP has gone from hypertension stage 2 to normal - is that real?

Prior to surgery, my Omron blood pressure readings were consistently in the "Hypertension Stage 2" category. Yesterday, my BP was down to "Elevated" and today it says "Normal." Is that for real? How can I see such a drastic change when I haven't lost weight yet?
