Recommended Posts

I have officially hit a month stall and it’s bringing me down. ... I have increased Water, workouts, and cut calories and still nothing. Getting discouraged.

Don’t give up. I had my surgery 3/3/20. My weight loss has not been as much as I wanted and I fell into a bit of a depression. I’ve lost almost 50 pounds including pre- surgery. It gets into your mind. I know. Focus on what’s going right and keep getting in your Protein and Water. I think that’s what happened to me. I can hardly eat anything without feeling so full and I forgot about the protein and water. I have to remind myself every day to get those two in. I’m still holding steady at 207. I also got my period this week. I won’t touch the scale for another two weeks. I hope it works out soon for you.

Maybe try setting other goals that you have more control over than the scale for the next 2-3 weeks? For example when my weight wasnt moving, I upped my walking from 45 mins to 130 mins for a while. Then when I had gotten back to the scale, things had sorted themselved out. Also as long as I kept up my end of the goal, I felt that I had done the best that I could. (Obviously, I was still keeping my calories in check.)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
