PreWorkout Eating/Food Idea

Im wondering what preworkout foods are good to eat before hitting the gym? I went today and my muscles acted like they werent ready? and my weightlifting was slow to increase today so im thinking more carbs ? or do i need more protein beforehand? i know carbs are the energy source

    call your dietician If you need a different food plan to support your fitness level. Give them your current calories, calories burned, and How much you train per day. I agree with @Ellf Try eatin

I agree with @Ellf Try eating carbs on your plan with protein before and after your workout. (after can be a protein shake) Stay within your weight loss calories/carb range to keep your body in weight loss mode.

Greek yogurt would make a great pre or post-workout snack. Has protein and carbs to keep you going.

I drink a 30 g protein Ensure before and 8-16 oz of V-8 Juice after. Still on liquids . Like the ideas above.
