But it appears the sleeve was separated into 2 sections (1 connected to the esophagus/ 1 connected to the duodenum) but also then the Surgeon decided to resect more of the sleeve (connected to the esophagus) to get the proper shape and size for the revision. This person may have had a longer stomach than usually, or this may be common practice.

I sure wish sometimes that we had a resident surgeon on the site to ask questions...
