ice chip with feeding tube

Well, its been one hell of a ride that hasn't stopped yet. I was in 1 hospital for 44 days then transferred to Tampa general hospital for 10 days. Long story short I have a big whole

where the esophagus meat the stomach. They put 2 stents in and had to take them out and put feeding tube in. I'm finally home with the feeding tube. I'm not suppose to have ice but I'm so thirsty. Any one else relate? How bad is it?
